Setting aside time every week to talk with someone who truly hears you can have a transformative effect. I know this from my own experience.

After completing a degree in Biomedical Sciences, specialising in Neuroscience, I became curious about talking therapies and the power that something seemingly so simple has in transforming our brains.

I completed a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and have been practising ever since.

I am an integrative counsellor which means I am trained in a number of different approaches including Person Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT. I put you at the heart of our sessions and tailor my approach to what is best suited to you. 

Research indicates that no matter what type of counselling or therapy you receive, the most important aspect is the relationship between you and the counsellor. Therefore, I focus on building a foundation of trust and understanding so that you can feel safe to explore the more difficult parts of yourself.

I have experience working with people from a range of cultures and backgrounds including those from the LGBTQIA+ community and I aim to provide an inclusive and welcoming space.
